Job Summary:

The Personal Support Worker will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, providing personalized care and support to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility.
  • Provide companionship and social support to clients, engaging them in activities and conversations that promote their mental and emotional well-being.
  • Assist clients with household tasks, such as laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
  • Collect and dispose of specimens, as required.
  • Plan and prepare therapeutic diets and menus, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Provide physical support and assistance to clients, including transferring, lifting, and positioning.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, as needed.

Work Environment:

The Personal Support Worker will work in a fast-paced environment, providing care and support to clients in their homes or in our care facilities. This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
