About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Restoration Stonemason to join our team at Atwill-Morin & Associates Inc. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for restoring and preserving historic buildings and structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units to ensure a strong and durable foundation.
  • Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide a high-quality veneer facing that meets our standards.
  • Construct and install prefabricated masonry units to meet the needs of our clients.
  • Cut and trim bricks and concrete blocks to specification using hand and power tools to ensure a precise fit.
  • Restore, clean or paint existing masonry structures to their original glory.
Work Environment

You will be working in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on historic preservation and restoration. You will be required to work at heights, lift heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads.
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods.
