Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Interface Analyst to join our team at Watson Clinic. As an Interface Analyst, you will play a critical role in the implementation and maintenance of our healthcare systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough analysis of interface specifications to determine feasibility and interface methodology.
  • Maintain interfaces based on user requirement changes, and/or modifications to data formats, hardware platforms, or protocols.
  • Troubleshoot interface issues and document interfaces and incidents as required.
  • Participate in thorough testing during system upgrades and installment of new applications.
  • Maintain an understanding of clinic-wide applications as well as those applications with which it interfaces.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of application policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate degree with a major in Information Systems or Computer Science, or Epic Certifications.
  • Three years of HL7 experience, or five years of HL7 experience in lieu of education requirements.
  • Experience with HL7 and EDI interfaces, as well as a solid understanding of healthcare IT and software implementation methodology.
  • Strong background in designing, developing, testing, and implementing a full project life cycle.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve interface and technical issues.
  • General understanding and experience with SQL, Oracle, general networking concepts, and Microsoft Office products.
