Job Title: Senior Cost Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend. As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare loan monitoring reports and interface with clients and other consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct research on construction market conditions in Canada, including analysis of official published data.
  • Develop new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
  • Ensure key information and learning generated from each commission is inputted into internal databases and shared.
  • Participate in quality control and ensure compliance with quality standards and ISO audits.
  • Manage commissions to the right quality standards and ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure service delivery on commissions meets the conditions of appointment.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify potential opportunities and highlight them to Associate Directors and Directors.
  • Staff Management: Input into performance review process of consultants and graduate consultants.
  • Recruitment: Participate in selection and recruitment process, including interviews.

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years of relevant experience.
  • A recognized university degree.
  • Experience with payment certifications.
  • Membership in a relevant professional organization (i.e., RICS, CIQS).
  • Certification or designation from a professional organization achieved or in-progress (i.e., MRICS, PQS, etc.).
