Female Learning Disabilities Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in enabling our clients to live safe and fulfilling lives, achieving their personal goals, and participating in community activities.
About the RoleThis is a community-based support role, where you will work with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism, providing person-centered care and support. You will be responsible for assisting with daily living tasks, promoting independence, and facilitating social interactions.
Key Responsibilities- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management
- Support clients in developing and achieving their personal goals and aspirations
- Facilitate social interactions and community activities, promoting social inclusion and participation
- Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure comprehensive and person-centered care
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience working with individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
