Female Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Female Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at Thornbury Community Services. As an 'Outstanding' CQC-rated care provider, we offer a supportive and inclusive environment where our clients can thrive.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and experienced support worker to provide high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities in our community-based setting. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience and possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Support individuals with learning disabilities to engage in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
- Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care and support.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience working with individuals with learning disabilities.
- Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions.
- Knowledge of learning disabilities, autism, and mental health.
- Restraint training and physical intervention skills.
