We are seeking a skilled Structural Steel Erection Specialist to join our team at Brandt Development Ltd. in Regina, Saskatchewan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interpret and understand blueprints to plan and execute structural steel installation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to optimize the sequence of tasks for efficient steel installation.
  • Work safely at elevated heights using aerial work platforms and ladders.
  • Rig, hoist, and move materials with mobile cranes and other equipment within the worksite.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve project goals.
  • Adhere to safety protocols in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Travel to various job sites across North America for extended periods.
  • Lift at least 50 pounds.

Required Skills:
  • Effective communication with technical, professional, and upper management staff.
  • Excellent time management and adaptability to shifting priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.


Required Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in steel erection and construction.
  • Journeyperson certification preferred.
  • CWB SMAW all-position welding certification.
  • Safety training in fall protection and aerial platform.
  • Ability to work shift work.
  • Experience with metal building erectors, including pre-engineered and conventional structures.
  • Knowledge of various roof and wall systems.
  • CWB certified in SMAW all-position welding.
