Prestige Lakeside Resort Nelson is seeking a reliable Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our floors and surfaces.
  2. Dust furniture: Dust and polish all furniture and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
  3. Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture: Regularly vacuum and clean all carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
  4. Make beds and change sheets: Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of our guest rooms.
  5. Distribute clean towels and toiletries: Ensure that our guests have a sufficient supply of clean towels and toiletries.
  6. Stock linen closet: Restock the linen closet as needed to ensure that our housekeeping staff has access to clean linens.
  7. Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  8. Disinfect operating rooms and other areas: Regularly disinfect all operating rooms and other areas as needed.
  9. Clean and disinfect elevators: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our elevators.
  10. Handle and report lost and found items: Collect and report any lost and found items to our lost and found department.
  11. Attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items: Respond to guest requests for extra supplies or other items in a timely and courteous manner.
  12. Provide basic information on facilities: Provide guests with information on our facilities and services.
  13. Pick up debris and empty trash containers: Regularly pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  14. Wash windows, walls and ceilings: Clean and wash all windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a spotless environment.
  15. Clean changing rooms and showers: Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of our changing rooms and showers.
  16. Address customers' complaints or concerns: Respond to customer complaints or concerns in a timely and courteous manner.
Requirements:
  1. Will train: We are willing to train the right candidate.
