Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team at Prestige Lakeside Resort Nelson. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, and clean and disinfect kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances.
  • Stocking and Supply Management: Stock linen closet and distribute clean towels and toiletries.
  • Guest Services: Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests' requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities.
  • Physical Demands: Work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and stand for extended periods.

Requirements:

  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
