We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physician Specialist to join our team at Sunset Ridge Medical Clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Consultation and Diagnosis: Collaborate with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health, providing accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
- Medication and Treatment: Prescribe and administer medications and treatments as necessary, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Patient Education: Advise patients on healthcare options, providing guidance on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention.
- Primary Patient Care: Coordinate and manage primary patient care, ensuring seamless transitions between healthcare services.
- Counselling and Support: Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, addressing a wide range of health and lifestyle issues.
- Education: Degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry.
- Experience: Experience is an asset, but not required.
- Certifications: Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC), licensure by provincial or territorial authorities, Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Examination (MCCQE I and MCCQE II), and eligibility for certification by a provincial or territorial association.
- Work Environment: Work in a rural area, private practice, or clinic setting.
- Work Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
