Job Title: Medical Practitioner

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Practitioner to join our team at SADDLERIDGE MEDICAL CLINIC INC.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, consulting with other medical practitioners, and prescribing and administering medications and treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with other medical practitioners to evaluate patients' physical and mental health
  • Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
  • Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
  • Advise patients on health care
  • Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities
  • Be the patient advocate
  • Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
  • Provide acute care management
  • Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
Requirements:
  • Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience
  • Permanent position
  • 40 to 44 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
