Job OverviewThis role involves providing strategic leadership and expert guidance for effective municipal governance functions, including legislative processes, Council operations, intergovernmental affairs, and executive services, ensuring compliance with provincial and municipal legislation.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee legislative processes and Council operations
- Serve as liaison between provincially elected officials and City administration
- Foster transparent decision-making, policy development, and implementation
- Support Council activities, manage legal and procedural matters, and advance strategic priorities
This position requires developing and implementing strategies, plans, and programs for efficient operations that serve the organization and broader community.
Requirements- Bachelor's Degree in Public Administration or Management or equivalent
A competitive salary range is available based on relevant experience: estimated $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
Flexible work schedule with an average of 40 hours per week.
