Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Risk Management Specialist to join our team in Markham, Ontario. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing regular Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery initiatives, as well as ensuring compliance to prescribed risk mitigating policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct and monitor regular security access and vulnerability diagnostics, identifying and remediating any risks or issues.
  • Maintain and review the Risk Register and I.T. Asset List on a periodic basis.
  • Perform risk assessments of information systems and infrastructure, developing appropriate risk treatment and mitigation options.
  • Analyze system architectures to design security requirements that enforce Information Security policies and standards.
  • Identify and communicate current and emerging security threats to Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with business units, application teams, and service partners to provide guidance on security controls for managing risk.
  • Manage TFS' regular BCP and DR initiatives, coordinating ongoing Business Continuity Plan activities.
  • Develop and execute annual Information Security and BCP Associate Awareness training.
  • Review policies and procedures relating to Business Continuity and Information Security annually.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years' experience in information security, working with both on-prem and cloud technologies.
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.
  • Experience as an information security analyst/architect in Banking or Financial services.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing security technologies.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • Understanding of software and infrastructure development lifecycles, network protocols, and mobile security.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, including bonus potential. Additionally, we provide health and dental benefits, company pension plan, associate vehicle discount program, professional growth and development programs, and fitness reimbursement.
