We are currently hiring for a challenging role as an Armed Cash Transport Driver for our Montreal branch.

A signing bonus is offered to successful candidates.

Your mission at GardaWorld:

As an Armed Cash Transport Driver, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of valuables for our clients. You will work in various roles such as Driver/Guard, Team Leader, and Vault Teller. We are looking for candidates who enjoy teamwork, challenges, and are looking to be autonomous in their work.

We offer:

  • Hourly wage between $22.05 and $27.89 depending on the assignment
  • Night shift bonus of $0.85 per hour
  • Casual/on call position
  • Training free of charge for selected candidates

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform the pickup and delivery of values safely and efficiently for each client
  • Ensure a safe environment for your colleagues and customers
  • Follow established routes and schedules closely
  • Drive an armored vehicle and respect road safety at all times
  • Load and unload the armored vehicle
  • Reload or perform minor repairs on ATMs from various financial institutions
  • Dispatch and organize packages in the vault
  • Complete the necessary daily reports and paperwork
  • Respect the procedures and regulations initiated by GardaWorld
  • Carry a firearm during the performance of your duties

Requirements:

  • Possess the restricted and non-restricted Federal Firearms License (RPAL)
  • Own a valid driver's license since at least 2 years (class 5 minimum) with a maximum loss of 3 demerit points
  • Capable to lift loads up to 50 lbs on a daily basis
  • Available to work on call a minimum of 2 days a week for day, evening, nights, or weekend shifts with no minimum of hours guaranteed
  • Comfortable in both French and English language
  • Reliable, conscientious, responsible, and committed to safe job performance
  • Customer service oriented and skilled in managing stressful situations
  • Highly organized and comfortable working with minimal supervision
  • Eager to work in a fast-paced environment and capable to cope with pressure and tight timelines

GardaWorld takes care of the RPAL trainings and offers support for the license request. Apply online and a recruiter will schedule your training.
