Position Overview

TAYMAC ENTERPRISES INC is seeking a dedicated **Food Service Supervisor** to oversee the daily operations of our culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring that our food service meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced and dynamic
  • Exposure to noise, odours, and wet conditions
Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff engaged in food preparation and portioning
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation
  • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste
  • Prepare and submit detailed reports as required
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys
  • Establish and manage work schedules for the team
Supervision

Responsible for overseeing a team of 5-10 individuals, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, crouching, and walking
