At Stevenson Accounting, we are seeking a highly skilled Public Accounting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for managing balance sheets and profit/loss statements, planning and setting up accounting systems, and supervising staff. You will also analyze clients' financial records, prepare financial information, and develop financial plans for clients. Additionally, you will provide financial, business, and tax advice, and ensure accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Plan and set up accounting systems
  • Supervise staff
  • Analyze clients' financial records
  • Prepare financial information
  • Develop financial plans for clients
  • Provide financial, business, and tax advice

You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients, including individuals, departments, and companies, and will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance to accounting standards and procedures. Requirements:
  • Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation
  • 5 years or more of experience in public accounting
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software and tax preparation software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
