About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A & W Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Food Quality and Safety: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain the highest levels of food quality and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that we maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Budgeting: Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators, and prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies.
  • Staff Management: Hire, train, and develop our food service staff, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to excel in their roles.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment is preferred.
  • Work Setting: This role is based in a fast-paced restaurant environment, where you will be required to work under pressure and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Transportation: Public transportation is available for this role.
