Senior Platform Developer, Load Balancing Expert

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Developer to join our Load Balancing Platform team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and scaling load balancing solutions to ensure optimal performance across various applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in operational improvement cross-functional initiatives to enhance the load balancing platform.
  • Contribute to architectural decisions to ensure the load balancing platform remains robust, secure, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
  • Lead the design, implementation, and scaling of load balancing solutions to ensure optimal performance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks using observability tools to provide real-time insights and improve platform reliability.
  • Automate network processes and configurations using programming/scripting languages and DevOps tools.
  • Provide mentorship and technical leadership to junior developers and engineers.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in load balancing and network automation.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for the load balancing Platform.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's in Computer Engineering or Science.
  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience as a Platform Developer, especially on Load Balancing.
  • Skilled in Load Balancing design and implementation - any of F5, HAProxy, and Cloud Native Load Balancing.
  • Network systems and process automation experience using programming/scripting languages and experience with DevOps tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Grafana, Dynatrace.
  • Experience working in collaborative agile development teams, with CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience working on cloud computing platforms including GCP & AWS.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing Load Balancing in Hybrid Cloud Environment.
  • Experience with observability tools - Dynatrace; Grafana; Splunk, Cloud Native.
