Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team at AZ Towing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from trucks, ensuring that all items are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Operate and Drive Trucks: Drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage equipment.
  • Payment and Receipt: Process payments for goods and receive payments from customers.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs and maintenance to ensure the vehicle is operational at all times.
  • Inspections and Reporting: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and report any issues or concerns to central dispatch.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure safe and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Overtime Required: Be prepared to work overtime as needed to meet the demands of the job.
  • Sitting: Spend extended periods sitting while driving and performing other tasks.
