We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Farm Supervisor to join our team at Sunview Market Ltd. As a key member of our agricultural operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our farm workers and ensuring the efficient harvesting and processing of our crops.
Key Responsibilities- Clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
- Cut agricultural crops
- Divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots
- Harvest seedlings
- Level earth to fine grade specifications
- Oversee the activities of clearing the fields
- Weeding
- Provide agricultural crop services such as plowing, irrigating, cultivating, spraying, or harvesting
- Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Permanent employment
- English language proficiency
- 35 to 40 hours of work per week
This is a physically demanding role that requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Staff accommodation is available, and relocation costs are covered by the employer.
