Job Title: Food and Beverage Server

Lina's Italian Market & Cappuccino Dessert Bar is seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Food and Beverage Server to provide exceptional customer service and ensure a memorable dining experience for our guests. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service: Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay to kitchen and bar staff.
  • Table Maintenance: Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs.
  • Payment and Cash Handling: Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit, or debit cards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Work Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate.
  • Electronic Cash Register and Point of Sale System experience.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment with physically demanding tasks, including standing for extended periods and handling heavy loads.
