Job Description

We are seeking a Culinary Operations Supervisor to join our team in Ottawa, ON. This is a part-time position that requires the right individual to lead our culinary team to success.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Kitchen Manager to oversee all aspects of the daily operations of the Lone Star kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
  • Assist the Kitchen Manager in training and coaching prep cooks, line cooks, and other kitchen staff to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Help maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Provide leadership and coaching to both full-time and part-time staff, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Conduct interviews and hire individuals who will help grow the restaurant.
  • Communicate shift priorities and responsibilities prior to the start of every shift.
  • Exemplify exceptional leadership skills using our core values of People, Empowerment, Results, and Coaching.

Requirements

  • Prior supervisory experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate.
  • Able to lift items up to 30lbs.
  • Ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year
