Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Risk Analyst to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a Business Risk Analyst, you will play a critical role in enhancing the tools, resources, and methodologies for the Business Risk & Governance team within Cards, Payments, Transformation & Loyalty (CPT&L).
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance the operational efficiency of the Business Risk & Governance team.
- Develop and implement effective solutions to automate and streamline business processes, leveraging Confluence and other RBC-approved tools.
- Collaborate with the Business Risk & Governance team and other stakeholders to deliver projects that promote collaboration and enhance the overall risk management framework.
- Provide data-driven insights and analysis to support risk reporting, training, and documentation, including the Operational Risk Scorecard, Risk Appetite, and Risk & Control Monitoring Reports.
- Assist in the sustainment of a disciplined risk & control environment for the Credit Cards, Payments, Transformation & Loyalty portfolio.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of the financial services industry and banking system.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills and strong analytical, critical, and creative thinking.
