Job Description: Customer Service Associate

Village des Valeurs, a global retail company, is a for-profit business that specializes in buying, reselling, and recycling gently used clothing, accessories, and household items. Our business model focuses on providing communities with a smart shopping option while preventing millions of pounds of used items from ending up in landfills each year. We also support over 100 non-profit organizations by purchasing donated items, providing them with a source of income to support their essential community programs and services.

With over 300 stores across North America and Australia, we offer a unique shopping experience to our customers. Our team members play a crucial role in delivering an excellent experience to our customers, donors, and team members.

As a Customer Service Associate, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing exceptional customer service to our customers, responding to their inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Working collaboratively with the sales floor team to maintain a clean and organized store environment, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Participating in visual merchandising and inventory management to ensure that our stores are visually appealing and well-stocked.
  • Supporting the store's sales goals by promoting our products and services to customers.
  • Working effectively with the store management team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
