About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at 5 Star Concrete. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and meet specifications
  • Level top surface concrete to exacting standards
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
  • Train and mentor apprentices to develop their skills
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged concrete sections
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications to ensure accuracy
Requirements
  • Cement Finisher Trade Certification
  • Ability to work in a dusty, noisy, and wet environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and work at heights
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Team player with a willingness to relocate for the right opportunity
