Job Title: ECE Assistant

Bee Yourself Childcare INC is seeking a dedicated and caring ECE Assistant to join our team. As an ECE Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our childcare centre and contributing to the development of our young learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the implementation of child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Support early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Encourage children to express creativity through various activities, such as art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Engage children in activities, including storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for children.
  • Support the development of children's skills and abilities.
Requirements:
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: Child development assistant (ECE level 1), Emergency child care first aid and CPR.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability, team player, creativity, ability to multitask.
