Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Marlon and Elsa Antonio. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personalized care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist clients with daily living activities, such as feeding, toileting, and mobility
  • Provide companionship and social interaction to clients, helping to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for clients
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences
  • Assist clients with medication management, including administering medication and monitoring side effects
  • Provide emotional support and empathy to clients, helping them to cope with challenging situations
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
