Key Responsibilities

As an Assistant Department Manager at IGA, you will be responsible for performing day-to-day management activities within your department in collaboration with the department manager. This includes providing team members with feedback necessary for their professional development and the achievement of established objectives.

Additionally, you will collaborate with production and customer service clerks to ensure exceptional customer service. You will also work with the manager to ensure the management of inventories, price lists, marketing, and salary productivity according to established standards to ensure business readiness.

Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in retail or customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work in a team environment and provide feedback to team members
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
