Job Title: Bookkeeper

The Village Inn-Elora is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and general ledgers.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Policies and Procedures: Ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, including financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
