Job Posting for Retail Sales Assistant Store Manager

**Job Summary:**

The successful candidate will assist in the operation of Two Nations One Stop and provide direction where needed. Ensuring that customers are served quickly and courteously, and that the store is ready for business.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the store manager to train staff and ensure all policies and procedures are followed.
  2. Facilitate communication within the department to ensure seamless operations.
  3. Work with supervisors to maintain an organized store and sales area, ensuring a safe environment and reducing shrinkage and damage.
  4. Ensure shelves and refrigerated displays are stocked, and that outdated product is removed and rotated to maintain freshness.
  5. Assist with product lineups and display locations to maximize sales.
  6. Handle lotto restocking and returns to ensure accurate crediting to the store.
  7. Assist with ordering and inventory management.
  8. Support with annual evaluations and cash office/file maintenance.
  9. Participate in inventory management and other tasks as requested by the manager.

Requirements:

  1. Experience and knowledge of supervisory/management is an asset.
  2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  3. Excellent customer service skills.
  4. Ability to lift 10-60lbs on a regular basis.
  5. Flexibility to work all shifts, including weekends and evenings.
  6. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
