Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Team Leader to join our team at TINA VIETNAMESE RESTAURANT LTD. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef to lead our kitchen operations and take charge of menu planning, food preparation, and staff management.

Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Develop and implement new menus that cater to the tastes of our diverse customer base, ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals or individual dishes, maintaining consistency and quality throughout.
  • Kitchen Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and training to ensure seamless operation of the kitchen.
  • Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, minimizing waste and optimizing resource allocation.
  • Cleanliness: Ensure all kitchen areas, including dining spaces, are clean and hygienic, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced restaurant environment with a strong focus on teamwork and attention to detail.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent judgement, organized, reliable, client-focused, flexible, and ability to work under pressure.
Benefits
  • Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
