Oversee Sales at AutoCanada in Chilliwack

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to join our team at AutoCanada in Chilliwack, overseeing the sales staff and working towards hitting OEM retail objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of dealership accounting practices, budgeting, and expense management.

About the Job

This exciting role involves managing various lead traffic channels, analyzing current sales figures, developing effective sales techniques, and training the sales team on the proper process for selling new and used vehicles. The Sales Manager is responsible for hiring, training, and motivating our talented sales representatives while focusing on store CSI and customer retention.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute the established short, medium, and long-term sales objectives for new and pre-owned vehicle sales.
  • Develop and implement sales plans for your team to enable achieving monthly and annual goals.
  • Contribute ideas to and participate in the development and implementation of the dealership's marketing and advertising initiatives.
  • Be accountable for ensuring the successful conversion of iLeads to sales.
  • Monitor performance metrics related to your team including sales and customer experience metrics.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with our valued clients to further promote the dealership's brand within the market.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive dealership sales management.
  • Post-Secondary education in a related discipline would be considered an asset.
  • Must have some experience in a leadership role.
  • Strong people management skills such as leadership, team development, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring, and supervisory skills.
  • A well-defined sense of diplomacy, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication combined with the ability to interact and gain the support of senior leadership and other decision makers.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
