About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Machining and Tooling Inspector to join our team at Canadian Textile Services Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts with precision and accuracy
  • Measure and lay out work pieces to ensure proper assembly and alignment
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to inform production decisions
  • Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance
  • Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality and efficiency standards
  • Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
  • Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • Permanent full-time position
  • 35 hours per week
  • English language required
