We are seeking a skilled Machining and Tooling Inspector to join our team at Canadian Textile Services Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Compute dimensions and tolerances of machine parts with precision and accuracy
- Measure and lay out work pieces to ensure proper assembly and alignment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables to inform production decisions
- Repair and maintain machine tools and parts to ensure optimal performance
- Set up and adjust production machinery and tools to meet quality and efficiency standards
- Fabricate and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- Maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a related field
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Permanent full-time position
- 35 hours per week
- English language required
