About the Role:
The Lead Visual Arts Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Manager in gallery space curation, exhibitions, and events. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with others.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Manager to plan and execute gallery exhibitions and events
- Coordinate logistics for exhibitions, including setup, promotion, and tear-down
- Develop and maintain relationships with local artists and art organizations
- Assist with grant writing and fundraising efforts
- Provide administrative support, including data entry and record-keeping
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in arts administration or a related field
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other software applications
