About the Role

This senior leadership position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic communications plans to support the Government of Canada - Western's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of organizational policies and programs, allocating resources to achieve strategic objectives
  • Establish and manage senior staff positions, delegating authority and creating optimal working conditions
  • Conduct performance reviews and develop marketing strategies to promote the organization's brand
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 years or more of experience in a senior communications role
  • Strong leadership and strategic planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires on-site work at the physical location. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate a high level of professionalism and discretion.
