Landscape Labourer Job Description

Cedar Springs Landscape Group is seeking a skilled Landscape Labourer to join our team. As a key member of our outdoor maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting with landscape constructions, weeding, pruning, and trimming trees and plants, cutting grass, raking and collecting refuse, and removing litter and garbage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with landscape constructions, including laying sod or seed, planting bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and watering and tending to plants, lawns, and/or gardens.
  • Operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, including mowers, trimmers, and other machinery.
  • Spread sand or salt on sidewalks for snow or ice control.
  • Plant and move trees.
  • Perform snow removal tasks.
Work Environment

As a Landscape Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. You will be required to handle heavy loads and work in physically demanding conditions, including bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment.
  • 40 hours per week.
  • English language proficiency.
