Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven leader to join our team as a Financial Services Manager. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating daily branch activities to ensure maximum service levels to our members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily branch activities to ensure maximum service levels to members
  • Lead a team of Financial Services Advisors and Member Service employees in developing new business relationships and capitalizing on opportunities to enhance relationships with existing members and clients
  • Effectively manage consumer loan and investment portfolios for branches, focusing on risk, pricing, diversification, and quality
  • Work closely with the Director, Retail Banking to prepare budgets, set sales objectives and priorities, and operational standards for the team
  • Manage all department activities to ensure compliance with sound business practice, legislation, regulations, policies, and procedures

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business or a related discipline
  • 3-5 years related lending and formal leadership experience or an equivalent combination
  • Working knowledge of investment-related products, credit union or other financial institution regulatory requirements, and legislative guidelines
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster open communication, value opinions and ideas of others, and prioritize strong time management and a commitment to excellence
