About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Specialist to join our team at Spectrawise Consulting inc. As a Marketing Specialist, you will play a key role in promoting industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Administer programs to promote industrial and commercial business investment in rural and urban areas.
  • Client Support: Respond to enquiries from members of the business community concerning development opportunities.
  • Advice and Guidance: Provide advice on procedures and requirements for government approval of development proposals.
  • Market Research: Conduct surveys and analyze data on the buying habits and preferences of wholesale and retail consumers.
  • Area Development: Develop social and economic profiles of an area to encourage industrial and commercial investment.
  • Content Creation: Prepare reports, research papers, educational texts or articles.
  • Marketing Strategies: Advise clients on advertising or sales promotion strategies.
  • Communication Materials: Gather, research and prepare communications material.
  • Media Relations: Initiate and maintain contact with the media.
  • Marketing Analysis: Conduct analytical marketing studies.
  • Customer Experience: Evaluate customer service and store environments.
  • Marketing Strategy: Develop marketing strategies.
  • Database Management: Maintain and manage digital database.
  • Content Writing: Write and edit press releases, newsletter and communications materials.
Requirements
  • Area of Specialization: Interactive/new media, Communications.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Excellent written communication, Flexibility, Organized, Accurate, Reliability, Quick learner.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years, Permanent, English, 35 to 40 hours per week.
