Job Title: Bookkeeper

At PH Midland Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to work as a team player. The work term is permanent, and the work language is English. The hours of work are 30 to 35 hours per week.
