About the Role

As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing on-site activities and ensuring that all work meets Qualico's high standards.

Your primary focus will be on directing and managing the daily tasks of your team, while also maintaining open communication with trade partners and suppliers to schedule deliveries and installations. You will inspect work to guarantee compliance with building codes and safety regulations.

You will interpret plans and specifications, identify potential issues, and communicate them to the project management team in a timely manner. Additionally, you will conduct thorough site inspections before handovers to ensure customer satisfaction.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent leadership and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with colleagues, customers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop team members, providing clear guidance and direction.
  • Manage daily tasks, ensuring work is carried out safely and efficiently.
  • Coordinate with trade partners and suppliers to meet project deadlines.
  • Inspect work to guarantee quality and adherence to building codes.
  • Interpret plans and specifications, identifying potential issues.
  • Communicate with the project management team to resolve discrepancies.
  • Conduct site inspections prior to handover, addressing customer concerns.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in residential construction, with supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of building codes and requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
  • Satisfactory verification of a criminal record check.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
  • Ability to perform basic construction duties.

Preferred Requirements

  • Previous experience managing multiple construction sites.

Estimated Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and experience.
