As a Business Intelligence Finance Specialist, you will empower our 12,000 team members to help our residents live the life they desire and deserve. You will provide them with tools and support to deliver excellent clinical care and elevate the resident experience through choice, personalization, and community engagement.

You will be part of a hybrid work model, working from our Markham, Ontario Head Office three times a week.

Job Description:
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of strategic dashboards and reports for senior management
  • Support senior management and the business in various reporting and analytical needs
  • Perform quality assurance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of all reports
  • Create documentation of technical specifications related to reports
  • Analyze data to identify new insights and business opportunities
  • Assess design of reporting and propose improvements
  • Extract, transform, and analyze complex information from databases and systems
  • Support development of data architecture for Business Intelligence
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, Math, or related discipline with Chartered Professional Accounting designation
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience working in a large organization or accounting firm using Microsoft BI technologies
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to break down complex terms and data into simplified format
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with sense of urgency and accountability
