Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Castle Hospitality Group Ltd. o/a Ranchers Castle. As a Kitchen Helper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, as well as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
  • Dishroom Duties: Clean and sanitize dishes, glassware, and flatware, as well as operate dishwashers and wash items by hand.
  • Table Setting and Service: Set tables, replenish condiments and supplies, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and sharpen kitchen knives.
  • Floor Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
Work Environment:

As a Kitchen Helper, you will work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and performing repetitive tasks. You must be able to work under pressure and maintain a high level of productivity.
