Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our logistics team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform warehouse functions with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Be responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks.
  • Deal with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, and other documents.
  • Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract.
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • A valid Forklift Operator's License is required.
  • A diploma or GED is preferred.
  • One (1) year or more related warehousing experience is required.
  • Experience with automated pick and pack systems is an asset.
  • Familiarization with automated warehouse management systems is an asset.
  • Experience with an RF scanner is required.
  • Experience with MS Office is required.
  • Candidate must have a good command of English.
  • Able to lift and/or push/pull up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time.
  • Be a team player and work within a diverse work environment.
  • Can work using health and safety methods.
  • Punctuality and good attendance record.
  • Initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision.
