Key Responsibilities- Provide emergency nursing care to clients of all ages, assessing and prioritizing their needs in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans, ensuring effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to maintain and advance clinical competence in emergency nursing.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement, identifying opportunities for process improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Sechelt Hospital is a 46-bed acute care facility serving the Lower Sunshine Coast community. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality patient care and promoting a positive work environment.
Requirements- Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives.
- Completion of a recognized advanced program in emergency care nursing or two years' recent, related experience.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
