Food Service Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Saskatchewan Ltd.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that high-quality food and excellent customer service are provided to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Requisition food and kitchen supplies to ensure efficient operations
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
- Hire and supervise food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards by conducting regular quality checks
- Prepare budget and cost estimates to ensure efficient operations and minimize costs
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef to ensure accurate and timely food preparation
- Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing and minimize overtime
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in food service or a related field is an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service environment, with frequent exposure to food, kitchen equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours of Work:The hours of work will be 30 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
