Job Summary:

The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth. This is a key leadership role that requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Staff: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, authorize returns, and maintain inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise, resolve customer complaints, and provide excellent customer service to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced retail environment, standing for extended periods, and performing tasks that require attention to detail.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Work Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a retail environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week.
