Job Title: Health and Safety Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health and Safety Coordinator to join our team at Randstad Canada. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Environmental Health and Safety and/or Quality, with experience in Industrial Hygiene and JHSC certification.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track, investigate, and report on near misses and incidents
  • Conduct safety meetings, tours, and conversations with internal partners/employees
  • Plan, coordinate, and conduct EHS training for new and existing employees
  • Assess and report on EHS statistics monthly
  • Attend national EHS meetings and provide updates to leadership
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly inspections, including JHSC inspections and first aid
  • Implement and maintain the company's safety program in conjunction with all regulatory bodies
  • Support other departments with administrative tasks when needed
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Environmental Health and Safety and/or Quality
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Industrial Hygiene
  • JHSC certification
  • ISO (Quality) knowledge
  • Excellent computer and communication skills
  • Excellent reporting, writing, and intellectual skills
  • Ability to work independently
