Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the sour gas facility, including equipment and processes
  • Monitor and control the facility's operations, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facilities
  • Collaborate with the operations team to achieve production goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of experience working at a sour gas facility
  • Hands-on experience with amine, refrigeration, dehydration, and acid gas injection
  • Comfortable and competent working with H2S and SCBA
  • Strong commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment
  • Attention to detail and diligence in following process and procedures
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Valid H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, and Common Safety Orientation
  • Valid power engineering certification or GPO's an asset
  • Capable of passing pre-employment drug and alcohol test
