About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Painter and Decorator to join our team at Allstar Holdings Inc. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, and applying wallpaper and other fabric to walls.

Key Responsibilities
  • Surface Preparation: Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair cracks and holes in walls and surfaces, and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the integrity of the building.
  • Decorative Finishing: Apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls, and use various techniques to create a professional and visually appealing finish.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of equipment, including brush painting, conventional spray painting, and multi-ratio pump spraying.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, at heights, confined spaces, odours, and cold/refrigerated environments.
