Painter and Decorator

We are seeking a skilled Painter and Decorator to join our team at Adrian Ruiz-Correas. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the interior and exterior surfaces of our buildings are properly prepared and finished.
Work SettingOur team works on various locations, and relocation costs are covered by the employer. We are willing to relocate for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
- Repair cracks and holes
- Mix paint to the desired color and texture
- Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls
- Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging
- Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces
- Painter and Decorator Trade Certification
- Experience with brush painting, roller painting, and drywall taping/patching
- Knowledge of aggregate painting, surface gilding, and paint spraying
- Ability to work with wood finishing, including graining and staining
- Wallpaper application skills
- Attention to detail and hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- Own transportation and tools, including steel-toed safety boots and uniform
